Assistant Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist in lead a security team ensure overall security and safety of the Hotel premises
• Supervise the out-sourced security team
• Perform shift in charge ensure out-sourced security perform duties in accordance with the laws and Company standards, policies & procedure
• Monitor the Alarm Panels, CCTV, access control system and take necessary actions
• Response on security related matters and emergency incidents and keep superiors informed
• Prepare routine daily and incident reports
• Work closely with Duty Manager to take up initial action in investigating accidents or incidents involving hotel guests and employees
• Check the safety situation of the key areas of hotel by regular patrol
• Assist in special events & functions organized in the hotel
• Any other reasonable duties relating the hotel tenants as per required
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors

Requirements

• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit & QAS certificate
• At least 3 years’ experience in security field with minimum 1 years’ experience in supervisory level preferably in the hotel industry
• Holder of valid first aid certificate preferable
• Good knowledge of Fire System and Security System.
• First aid certificate / Qualified First Aider
• Good knowledge of Fire System and Security System
• Sound knowledge and experience in occupational safety and health, possession of relevant recognized certificate or diploma is in an advantage
• Able to work independently, well-disciplined and good communication skills
