Responsibilities
- To supervise staff at Information and Ticketing Counter, perform general duties and handle passenger’s complaint at counter to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and refer to superior for any special incidents.
- To be responsible for all daily routine at Information Counter such as ticket issuance for customer airlines and reservation ( including JL staff ticket), flight disruption and protection handling, involuntary ticket reissuance, solving interline electronic ticket problem, general enquiry from external and internal.
- To maneuver and re-deploying of staff at Information and Ticketing Counter coping with the operational needs.
- To act as in-charge of the Information and Ticketing Counter in the absence of Assistant Passenger Services Manager (Operations).
- To support and assist Duty Manager, Manager-On-Duty for arranging protection flights and re-issuance of ticket for disrupted passenger if any.
- To monitor the performance and uniform/grooming standard of Service Leader and officers at counter.
- To support and assist his / her subordinates in handling difficult passengers and complicated ticketing matters.
- To prepare monthly inventory report and control working stock of accountable document and sales report checking.
- To support Assistant Passenger Services Manager (Operations) in new system training/cutover project for customer airlines.
- To check and ensure new product or handling procedure of customer airlines are in place.
- To complete the sales and passenger count report only daily basis and submit to airlines and authorities as required on monthly basis.
- To ensure the data updated in the sales and passenger count report are matched with the supporting document generated in system.
- To attend training sessions, as and when required.
- To complete other assignments allocated by superior.
Requirements
- Grade E / Level 2 or above with 5 subjects including, English (syllabus B), Chinese Language & Mathematics, at HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience and including 1-2 years at a supervisory level in airport services field.
- Completion of all ticketing courses and supervisory skills training.
- Fluent in English & Cantonese and ability to communicate in Putonghua, other languages will be an advantage.
- Independent personality with strong leadership skill.
