Responsibilities:
- To supervise and allocate Baggage Services Agents to perform baggage make-up and transfer in baggage processing areas to ensure a high standard of service to customer airlines and follow safety rules.
- To supervise and ensure smooth baggage handling.
- To ensure baggage handling activities are performed in accordance with safety procedures.
- To follow up and report irregularities to Duty Controller and carrier representatives.
- To answer and follow up with telephone inquiries relating to baggage handling.
- To follow up and investigate overdue, short shipped and nil confirmation baggage.
- To ensure prompt liaison with internal and external customers for special baggage handling.
- To ensure smooth baggage handling and report problems / corrective actions to Senior Supervisor or Duty Controller
- To communicate all procedural changes and requests to all staff and ensure their full awareness and understanding.
- To maintain staff discipline, efficiency, safety, appearance and morale in Baggage Handling Sections.
- To attend training sessions as and when required.
- To complete other assignments allocated by his / her superior.
- To strictly follow safety regulations and ensure safety driving.
Requirements:
- Post secondary or above.
- Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Able to control / supervise subordinates.
- Good command of written / spoken English and Chinese
- Knowledge of PC
- Holder of valid HK driving licence 1 & 2.
