Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sous Chef to manage the operations of Coffee Shop Kitchens in The Royal Garden.
  • To establish culinary standards specific to the restaurant which meet the needs of the target market.
  • Supervise and monitor the activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
  • Recognize the developmental needs of subordinates and guide them to improve their knowledge and skills.
  • Improve service by communicating with guests to understand their needs and providing feedback to cooks.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations. 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in hotel and catering industry 
  • Competent knowledge of Western & Asian cuisine and Pastry art
  • Familiar with ISO 22000 quality management system 
  • Proven managerial abilities in people management and leadership 
  • Good communication, interpersonal, analyzing, organizing and planning skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
