As a Commis at Pastry Kitchen, you will play a key role in supporting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a wide range of high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Ensuring that all ingredients are properly portioned, prepared, and stored in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work station, including regular cleaning and sanitising of equipment and work surfaces
- Providing support to other members of the kitchen team as required
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and food handling regulations
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety standard
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, cakes, and desserts
