Chef de Parie / Demi Chef - Pastry

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating and managing the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment.
  • Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
  • Follow up the daily operation production and check the food storage
  • Assist in kitchen with food and pastry production
  • Support kitchen operations in general and sometimes in specified area
  • Make sure food quality and hygiene are maintained

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in F&B industry; experienced in pastries industry or in hotels is an advantage.
  • Must good written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese including English and Mandarin
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge about food portion control and food cost
  • Have passion for cuisine, team player, cheerful and good communication skills
