Key Responsibilities

Welcome to the core of what being a Barista is all about!

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

• Work in the coffee station under the direct supervision of a captain or team leader and ensure all guests are satisfied and served according to hotel standards

• Acknowledge and warmly welcome/ fondly farewell all guests using their name where possible

• Responsible for overall cleanliness and tidiness of the coffee station and yourself

• Take good care of all operating equipment to ensure a minimum of breakage and damages

• Check products for quality and correct any issues that could prevent the guest from enjoying their meal/ drinks

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage experience, preferable as barista before
• Diploma or above; Graduate from hotel school or hospitality training institute is preferred
• Professional Barista certificate or training preferable

The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):

• Flexible and able to adapt to changing and fast-paced environments

• Passionate in making coffee and developing knowledge about food and beverage
