About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Concierge Department in Hong Kong, the Assistant Concierge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Concierge team, supervising Concierge staff and ensuring guest enquiries are handled professionally. The Assistant Concierge reports to the Chief Concierge.

As Assistant Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To assist Chief Concierge in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Department
• Observes and ensures that all colleagues are performing their duties in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures
• Achieve maximum guest satisfaction and adhere to the quality standards required by the hotel
• Handles guests’ feedback or complaints and provide appropriate resolutions in a timely manner
• Organize all transportation requirements and luggage arrangements for hotel guests
• Ensure that the Concierge Desk information is always up to date
• Demonstrate exceptional guest recognition in hotel lobby & entrance

 As Assistant Concierge, we expect from you:

• 3 years of Concierge Operations with at least 1 year at supervisory level 
• Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken in English and Chinese 
• Superior guest resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
