We are currently looking for a talented Building Surveyor to join our Technical Team in Hong Kong’s leading decentralized office area – Taikoo Place. With top-flight technological facilities and an integrated community, Taikoo Place is a thriving hub of 10 interconnected office towers that has seen continuous upgrading and expansion. Our Technical Team of specialised engineers and building surveyors are dedicated professionals who drive our sustainable practices forward, make cutting-edge enhancements to our buildings so Taikoo Place is even more exceptional, and support our daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor maintenance, repair and upgrading of the building fabric, plumbing and drainage installations in Taikoo Place
• Assist in preparation of the budget reports, recommendation of maintenance and improvement strategies,
• Monitor tenants' fit-out works
• Supervise in-house technicians and contractors to carry out routine repair and maintenance work, implement corrective and planned maintenance
• Handle enquiries on all related issues, plan & execute system upgrades and prepare technical reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or higher diploma in Building Surveying or related discipline 
• Qualified Professional Building Surveyor (MHKIS or MRICS) with minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance of building fabric of commercial buildings. Without professional qualification but with longer relevant working experience will still be considered
• Good communication skills; ability to work with people at all levels
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good PC skills on MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD
• Required to attend 24-hour emergency calls
