We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our upcoming renovation projects within the hotel. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that all initiatives are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:-
- Develop project management activities, including defining project goals, scope, budget, managing schedules, and ensuring quality of deliverables.
- Lead the selection process for designers and contractors, evaluating proposals and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Supervise in budget monitoring, vendor engagement, and program execution in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Managing the appointment of consultants, procurement of Works Contracts, oversee the construction and performance of all Works Contracts, consultants, and sub-contractors, and handle the handover process.
- Implement project governance frameworks and prepare progress reports to ensure effective execution and compliance.
- Develop and implement methodologies that foster cooperative and collaborative synergies with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and enhancing overall project efficiency.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Regularly reporting key project status to the Head of Hotels & Serviced Apartments.
Requirements:-
- Degree in Construction Management, Building Architecture, Building Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation project management, preferably in hotel or high-end commercial renovation projects in Hong Kong.
- Experience with local building codes, hotel licensing submissions, Standard Form of Building Contract.
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Autocad, MicroStation and Inroads.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
