Counter Service Officer / Teller (Retail Banking Department)

Responsibilities:

  • Handle hit alerts generated from name screening system on a day-to-day basis
  • Distinguish the TRUE / FALSE positive cases by checking customer data and watch-list database. 
  • Make Request for Information (RFI) to responsible departments if necessary and follow-up any outstanding alerts
  • Record the decision and rationale in the system clearly
  • Follow-up the subsequent actions with Frontline and Supporting Units for TRUE hit cases according to the prescribed procedures and timeline
  • Escalate serious hits and long outstanding cases to supervisors of AML Centre
  • Conduct quality assurance regularly through sample checking and appropriate enquiry

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary or above 
  • Good team player, energetic, self-motivated with good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Self-initiative, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Good written and communications skills in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
  • Familiar with Chinese word processing is an advantage
  • Immediate available is highly preferable
