Analyst, Private Banking Operations

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor of full settlement cycle of investment products (e.g. stocks, bonds, investment funds, structured products and derivatives)
• Process settlement payments and receipts
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and fund administrators to resolve discrepancies
• Perform position reconciliation to ensure accuracy
• Make constructive and practical suggestions to enhance operational workflow and reduce operational risks
• Perform ad-hoc projects, co-ordinate with stakeholders on various issues

Candidates are expected to possess

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
• 1 year of back office experience in a bank (preferably in Private Banking or Wealth Management industry)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge and experience in market systems like SWIFT, RTGS, Vestima, Avaloq, etc. and good understanding of functioning of wealth management system
• Understanding of internal and external guidelines and rules, market practices
• Team spirit, good interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Logical mind, good problem solving skills and multi-tasking
• Good command in both spoken (Mandarin and Cantonese) and written Chinese, and fluency in English
• Versatile in Microsoft Office, i.e. EXCEL, WORD and PowerPoint
