Lead and manage Quality control team to oversee Direct Channels & Business Banking’s overall operation controls, ensure all operation processes are fully complied with the regulations and standard set by the Bank and regulator.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop, implement and execute internal control procedures, ensuring adherence to establish effective control procedures across the Sales, Customer Services and Operation functions.
- To monitor the operation risk and regulatory compliance related issues, ensure the control self-assessment are properly carried out.
- Monitor different key indicators to mitigate operational risks of the department and ensure associated controls within the Department are in place and sufficient.
- Review and recommend improvements to optimize controls and comply with the group's policies and regulations.
- Advice to the frontline on control / compliance related matters e.g. complaints investigation, analyst complaint case and provide proper feedback to frontline staff.
Incumbent Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business, Finance or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the Banking industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and services operational controls, especially in the SME sector.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and capable of working effectively in a cross-functional environment.
