Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression of the restaurant.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to.
  • Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods and provide accurate wait time estimates to guests.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, assist with inquiries, and handle reservation requests.
  • Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service.
  • Monitor the dining area to anticipate guest needs and address any concerns promptly.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host station and lobby area.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
