1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and cash flow forecasts;
- Perform variance analysis, cost monitoring, and efficiency reviews to support cost control initiatives;
- Develop financial models, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic and operational decisions;
- Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to support business planning, capital investment, and new initiatives; and
- Partner with business units to translate operational plans into financial implications.
2. Financial Accounting & Month-End Closing
- Oversee general ledger management, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity;
- Supervise treasury functions, including banking relationships, cash management, investments, insurance arrangements, and payroll oversight;
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness;
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with HKFRS / IFRS and internal policies; and
- Coordinate with external auditors on interim, annual, and donation audits, ensuring smooth audit execution and issue resolution.
3. Shroff & Cashiering Operations
- Oversee Shroff / cashiering operations, including billing, receipt issuance, payment collection, and cash handling;
- Ensure robust internal controls, segregation of duties, and daily reconciliation between cash, system records, and bank balances;
- Monitor and enforce cashiering policies, float management, and security procedures in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements; and
- Review operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA preferred;
- Minimum 10 years’ finance experience, with at least 5 years in FP&A and financial reporting;
- Strong industry experience in insurance or healthcare/hospital sectors is highly preferred;
- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, variance analysis, and business intelligence tools;
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting software;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders;
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights;
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders; and
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Work location: The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong in Tseung Kwan O.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
