Assistant Manager (Food & Beverage)

Job Description

• Ensure respect of the Brand standards, 5 stars hotel service , management rules and manager directions 
• Take orders and serve customers using the point-of-sales system. 
• Communicate food orders with Kitchen team to ensure meals are cooked as ordered .
• Responsible for handling all cash and credit card transactions for all food and beverage purchases. 
• Managing food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards 
• Ensure beverage and condiments are stocked properly and consistently throughout shift.
• Prepare and serve all type of  beverages (including alcohol) 
• Guide & train the team to follow up Service standards
• Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns 
• Accurately answer customers’ questions and provide information on food and beverage details, hotel operations hours ( swimming pool , gym , f&b outlets ) 
• Maintain a memorized knowledge of the menu, prices and ingredients , offer , promotions, discount
• Provide assistance to others teammates if operations needs.  
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by upper management.

Requirements

• 2 years  experience in F&B management( Hotel & Independent restaurant ) are required  
• 5 years experience in F&B ( Hotel & independent restaurant ) 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills  ( English, Cantonese , Mandarin ) 
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• leadership skills
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
• Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field
