Rink Guard (5 days work)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe operations both on and off the ice rink
• Ensure the safety of skaters which skate too fast or in a dangerous manner
• Sweeping, cleaning and other custodial duties
• Assists in the general maintenance and upkeep of the ice arena area
• Evaluate injuries and administer first aid
• Help with other Ice Arena special events i.e. events and programs
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to ice skate and have basic skating skills
• Diploma in sports and recreation management or relevant disciplines
• 1-2 years relevant work experience
• Enforce all safety rules related to ice skating and the facility
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin 
• Working on weekends and festive seasons may be required when necessary
