Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor corporate actions announcements for investment productions (e.g. Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds and Structured Products)
- Notify clients and internal teams of upcoming corporate actions, ensuring clear and concise communication of event details, deadlines and options
- Handle inquiry from client or internal teams in relation to corporate actions; follow-up with counter-parties for exception items
- Represent the team to participate and contribute in related projects and conduct UAT
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automate processes, and improve efficiency in corporate action processing
- Perform ad-hoc projects, co-ordinate with stakeholders on various issues
Candidates are expected to possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Action processing, preferably within Private Banking or Wealth Management industry
- Experience with financial market infrastructure and processing platforms such as SWIFT, RTGS, Clearstream Web Portal and Avaloq would be an advantage
- Solid understanding of private banking management systems and operation workflows
- Familiar with policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in Private Banking
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organized with logical mindset, good problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
- Proficient in in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Candidates may be considered for a more senior position based on their qualifications and experiences.
