Position Summary
Responsible for cross-selling of treasury products, FICC to financial institutions and other business units of the Bank and within the Group, assist in products development and services, ensure all trades follow the Bank's standard procedure set out for Treasury Sales in order to fulfill compliance and regulatory requirements, conduct sharing sessions on product level and target oriented.
Responsibilities
- To assist in developing a sales plan with sales team leader to achieve sales objectives and targets through the marketing & sale of treasury products and services
- To provide treasury advisory services to financial institutions and corporate customers and support other business units on treasury marketing
- To drive, explore and design business solutions and strategies for targeted customers with other business units and other Bank Group entities
- To support and manage execution of treasury products with customers and the relevant internal and external counterparties
- To gather treasury market intelligence from interbank counterparts to identify suitable new products for clients and provide professional inputs for product development
Requirements
- University graduate, preferably major in Economics, Finance, Business Management or a related discipline
- Holder of Type 1 and Type 4 license with HKMA / SFC is preferred
- Member of Treasury Markets Association / ECF-TM Qualification in Professional Level II (Role 1) is preferred
- Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years banking expoerience in which 3 yars in FICC, treasury products sales and advisory related roles.
- Experience in sales and distribution of treasury products or investment marketing is preferred.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage
