What you need to have:

  • A proven track record in restaurant operations in a similar capacity
  • Deep knowledge of drink menu items, food & beverage recommendations and the art of considered service
  • A strong understanding of restaurant operating procedures
  • Proven ability to multitask in an elevated yet informal service environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - we want you to foster genuine relationships with our Members and your team
  • A strong command of English

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the F&B, Culinary, Marketing, and Music and Artist Curation teams to prepare an annual marketing plan that forms the basis of the Food and Beverage marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with the Music and Artist Curation team to position Café Carlyle as Asia's most exclusive intimate music entertainment venue, offering unique food and beverage services and upholding the legacy of New York’s Café Carlyle.
  • Continuously evaluate local, national, and international market trends, vendors, and other club/restaurant operations to ensure the club remains competitive and innovative
  • Focus on improving productivity and managing utility and payroll costs within acceptable guidelines, ensuring optimal deployment and energy efficiency of equipment
  • Manage costs proactively using key performance indicators and collaborate with appropriate department heads.
  • Continuously monitor food and beverage products and service standards, providing feedback and corrective action as needed
  • Understand music genres, musical instruments, and AV equipment usage
  • Less experience will also be considered as Assistant Manager
