Operations Officer - Wealth Management Operations

Responsibilities

• Perform transactions on current and savings accounts including account opening and closing.
• Perform transactions in fixed deposits including deposits creation/renewal/redemption.
• Perform transactions in remittance services including cashier orders, demand draft, and telegraphic transfer applications including FX contracts.
• Perform day-end closing and balancing of banking transactions
• Process and receive Private Banking clients’ orders and dealing tickets executed via Investment Product and Advisory Department and Relationship Managers.
• Record and verify all the Private Banking clients’ instructions duly completed and availability of funds and stocks for securities transactions.
• Reconcile daily securities transactions and orders records.
• Process client’s securities transfer.
• Perform day-end closing and balancing of banking transactions
• Provide any other operational supports related to Private Banking operations as necessary
• Handle ad hoc and project as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, and eager to improve existing processes
• Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate with business partners and internal Risk & Compliance
• Strong execution skills and ability to multi-task; able to work under pressure
