Responsibilities:
- Establishes business relationship and maintain high level of exposure for the hotel in the major marketing areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communications
- Execute sales action plans, attend trade shows, conventions and promotional events for the Corporate, TT & MICE markets, and organize familiarization site inspection trips
- Participates in developing/reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various potential market segments, based on market feedback and conditions
- Actively sources new account and develops existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments
- Assists the DOS in developing strategic sales plans, detailing sales distribution plans, trade shows and other promotional opportunities in order to meet the hotels overall strategic plan
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of experience in managerial position
- Well versed with market situation and able to react promptly with tactics
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing, Opera will be an asset
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight timeline
