Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of the Sales and Promotional action plan for potential market
- Establishes a regular call pattern for meeting with principles of potential markets
- Participates in developing/reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various potential market segments, based on market feedback and conditions
- Participates in trade shows, conventions and promotional events for the TT & MICE markets
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
- Liaises closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure efficient and regular communication of sales activities
- Actively sources new account and develops existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel or Tourism Management
- 2 - 4 years’ experience of relevant working experience
- Well versed with market situation and able to react promptly with tactics
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing, Opera will be an asset
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager
