Vice President (Relationship Manager) - Commercial Banking

Responsibilities
Deepen client relationships with existing commercial banking clients and solicit new clients/businesses
Manage and grow existing portfolio of assigned clients
Liaise with various internal / external stakeholders to pitch and close cross sells in various aspects, including Transaction Banking, Sustainable Finance, Capital Markets, Treasury / Financial Market products, etc.
Independently manage the full spectrum of credit process, including new transaction pitching, term sheet drafting, price setting, preparing credit application report for credit approval, loan documentation, post disbursement credit monitoring, credit review, account opening, etc.
Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by team head, including conducting market study, provide market intelligence, provide guidance to junior RMs, etc.
Requirements
University degree, preferably major in business, finance
Minimum of 5 years’ commercial banking experiences in client relationship management with well-developed business connections
Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
Excellent communication, analytical and relationship building skills
Sales & customer oriented with solid credit analysis knowledge
Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Conversational Japanese would be preferred
