About the Role
As a Restaurant Manager - Nadaman, you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely, courteous and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business performance and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Coordinate with Head of Food & Beverage, Chef de Cuisine, Chef in sections appointed and Head Sommelier on F&B promotions, (seasonal) menu design, cost optimization and staff training.
- Provide directions to staff in delivering excellent service in line with Hotel service standards and exceeding guests’ expectations.
- Create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve our service standards.
- Review guest feedback / critique forms / outlet logbooks on operational issues / P&L statement.
- Conduct and attend F&B divisional and departmental meetings.
- Ensure all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned to prolong usage.
- Ensure general maintenance of sections appointed and follow up on work order forms with Engineering Department.
- Ensure staff are aware of and apply the procedures concerning Hotel fire and life safety / emergency procedures.
About You
- Diploma or above in Hospitality Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in restaurants at prestigious Hotels or organizations, preferably in awarded fine dining restaurant, with minimum 3 years in Japanese restaurant.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverages and strong sense of market trends.
- Proven records in managing high-end catering events with strong knowledge of service skills.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, reliability, responsibility and accountability.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), advanced spoken Japanese would be an advantage.
