Senior Associate, Business Management, Private Banking

Responsibilities:

• As 1st line of defense, perform checking on customers’ account opening documentation of Private Wealth Management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including but not limited to KYC, CDD, AML, PI,PBC, FATCA & CRS.
• Perform checking on ongoing Customer Due Diligence periodic review / trigger event review to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Proactively track and liaise with the related stakeholders (RMs, ARMs, Operation, Compliance) on outstanding / incomplete CDD / account documentation or approvals and their follow up works.
• Handle the inquiry from frontline colleagues.
• Liaise with different stakeholders e.g. Legal & Compliance consultants to facilitate framework review
• Monitor and report suspicious transaction alerts 
• Perform independent confirmation call with the customers on risk profiling.
• Provide business support to Private Banking:
  -   generate monthly statements
  -   prepare regular reports for management review
  -   prepare presentation materials
  -   schedule various management meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  -   prepare training materials
• Perform administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned by Team Head.

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
• At least 3 years’ relevant KYC and client on-boarding experience in private banking / private wealth management
• Familiar with account documentation, due diligence and AML regulatory requirements
• Organized, abilities to multi-task, detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and take up challenges
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
