Manager or AVP, Product team (Transaction Banking, HK & Macau)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transaction Banking Product Manager/AVP to join our team, covering both the HK and Macau regions. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of relevant experience, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to embrace challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Manage the accounting opening process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Maintain accurate documentation for the Board of Directors, leveraging knowledge of Account Opening process.

• Assist in developing and implementing procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the functionality and reliability of financial systems and processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning related to Management Information (MI), deposits, foreign exchange (FX), and fee income products.

• Analyse financial data and prepare reports to support business decisions and drive performance improvements.

• Monitor sales campaign performance and sales mandates to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

• Support client acquisition efforts by analysing market trends and identifying potential opportunities for growth.

• Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

• Proven expertise in accounting opening, KYC, and board documentation procedures.

• Strong knowledge of MI, deposit products, FX, and fee income products to assist in strategic initiatives.

• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies.

• Background in client acquisition, market analysis, and sales campaign performance monitoring.

• Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
