Responsibilities:
Conduct investigation triggered by system alerts, cases referred by internal and external sources and thematic review
Ensure suspicious transactions are thoroughly investigated and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) are filed to JFIU with accurate information in a timely manner
Handle case enquiries from FIs and local enforcement agencies
Carry out post-STR measures
Assist in Transaction Monitoring system maintenance, controls and enhancements, and ensure its effectiveness
Assist in developing, updating and maintaining transaction monitoring policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards and the Bank’s risk appetite
Assist in coordinating and conducting AML / CFT training
Assist in preparing and managing reporting to senior management and regulators regarding transaction monitoring and management information related to suspicious transaction reports
Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in post-transaction monitoring in banking industry/ financial institutions
Holder of HKMA ECF on AAMLP is preferred
Good team player, energetic, self-motivated with good interpersonal and analytical skills
Self-initiative, able to work independently and under pressure
Good written and communications skills in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
