About the Role

As a Rooms Controller, you will be managing the key aspects of guest room operations to ensure a smooth and personalized experience aligned with Shangri-La’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including room assignments, check-ins, check-outs, and group bookings.
  • Manage reservations and room status, handling cancellations, duplicate bookings, overbookings, and out-of-order rooms.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and secure payments, while maintaining proper documentation and verifying guest information.
  • Monitor daily operations, run reports, and follow up on guest requests to ensure service excellence.
  • Support the team as needed, performing additional duties assigned by the Supervisor to maintain smooth front office operations.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of Front Office experience, preferably in international Hotels of similar scale.
  • Motivated, customer-focused, and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent command of spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
