Vice President, Commercial Banking Group - SME Sales Division

Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and pursue potential business opportunities from new and existing SME clients
• Client Engagement: Solicit and manage deposit products for corporate and individual clients, ensuring their financial needs are met
• Team Leadership: Coach, supervise, and empower Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers to enhance their performance and ensure smooth daily operations
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare business pipelines, MIS, and control reports as needed to track performance and ensure efficiency
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all activities align with legal, compliance, and internal audit standards, while minimizing risk
• Investment & Referral Opportunities: Open deposit and investment accounts and refer potential investment or insurance opportunities to the product team for further exploration
• Additional Tasks: Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• Education: University degree or equivalent qualifications
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of banking experience, preferably in commercial banking or SME sales
• Professional Certifications: Securities and Futures Intermediaries Qualifications and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifications will be a distinct advantage
• Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and coach a team effectively
