RESIDENT ASSISTANT CLERK OF WORKS (RACOW)

We are looking for the following site staff for the development of Hostel Development for The Hong Kong Polytechnic University at Tat Hong Avenue.
 

RESIDENT ASSISTANT CLERK OF WORKS (RACOW)
(Contract Period: 30 months)

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent / Engineering qualifications.
• 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience / 5 years’ relevant experience inclusive of 1 year relevant experience as RWS or equivalent in Building discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook / 3 years’ relevant experience inclusive of 1 year relevant experience as RWSI or equivalent in Building discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.
• Inspection works at the MiC factory in China-Guangdong province may be required.
• Qualified for TCP-T3 (AP Stream) under Building Ordinance.
• Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) /Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.

[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]

Tentative employment for the above position is to commence in October 2025 with gratuity payable upon satisfactory completion of the employment contract.
