Mixologist

Responsibilities:

  • Create and innovate cocktail recipes.
  • Experiment with new ingredients to develop exciting drinks.
  • Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards.
  • Utilize appropriate stemware and glassware as required by hotel standards.
  • Ensure that appropriate stock levels of all bar items are constantly maintained.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage with patrons.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards, as well as hotel requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in service, products, techniques, and presentation.
  • Demonstrate the desire and ability to train and develop other team members.
  • Perform multiple tasks, including other service duties such as hostess, cashier, and service.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mixologist or in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hotel or renowned bar environment.
  • Certification in bartending or mixology is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various spirits, cocktails, and mixing techniques.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
