Commercial Banking – Global Trade Solutions
Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade solutions, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are looking for high calibre professionals to join our team as Manager, Sales, Global Trade Solutions.
Principal responsibilities
- Support revenue enabling and value accretive activities through delivering an exceptional customer experience for higher value clients, proactively engaging clients for business, and maintaining/growing business volume and reducing attrition by optimising pricing and structure, and driving facility utilisation for middle tier trade clients.
- Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to clients.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the Bank.
- Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing distribution channel business development strategies.
- Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening the understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews.
Requirements
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate lending, client services or trade finance
- Strong customer service orientation and analytical ability, with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilient, capable to work responsibly in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
