RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
The primary purpose of this role is to support the implementation of Operational Resilience (OR-2) initiatives and deliver key resilience projects as required by the Keystone programme. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring resilience and crisis management activities to ensure the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions.
Business
- Develop and implement contingency management strategies and document the plan for Keystone Programme.
- Monitor and report on the progress of Keystone resilience management with programme stakeholders.
- Coordinate crisis response activities and ensure effective communication across the Keystone implementation period and during incident.
- Support and collaborate on key priorities and impediments of the Operational Resilience (OR2) Regulatory Implementation programme in HK and Rubik countries.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with operational resilience objectives.
- Curate programme governance (approvals, submissions), communications to senior management and key stakeholders across the bank
- Regularly elicit feedback and share lessons learnt to incorporate best practice in a timely manner with stakeholders across businesses/functions/geographies
- Mitigate the overall delivery risk for the Keystone and OR-2 Programme by working closely with stakeholders
- Ensure timely completion of resilience deliverables and milestones.
Processes
- Conduct and drive the implementation of resilience strategy for Keystone programme
- Promote the importance of Operational Resilience when collaborating with the Keystone programme team and related stakeholders. .
- Raise awareness with business and functions to embed strategy and introduce resilience by design behaviours
- Manage external regulatory change landscape and ensure requirements are embedded in the Bank’s processes
People & Talent
- Facilitate on-the-job learning from current & previous experience by identifying and communicating transferable lessons, helping to embed these lessons, and encouraging best practice across geographies team
- Be a self-starter who is able to initiate and successfully drive programmes and projects to completion with minimum management supervision
Risk Management
- Drive compliance to align with the Group policies standards, local regulatory requirements, and Keystone programme governance standard
- Understand and assess the impact of changes in the policy or standards, related to Keystone and Operational Resilience (OR2)
- Perform proactive risk identification to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and monitor Operational Resilience profile. Report any non-compliance to senior management or local governance committees
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of disruptions.
- Support the risk escalation and remediation of vulnerabilities
Governance
- Represent Operational Resilience at related governance forums/ committee where required
- Ensure Operational Resilience controls and metrics are reported to the appropriate risk forums/ committee to enable the effective management of Operational Resilience
- Responsible for the delivery of governance reports as required

Qualification
- Education Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance or Technology is preferred
- Certifications Business Continuity Management related certification (BCI, DRI ,etc.) is a plus
- Languages Fluent written and oral English and Cantonese
