Duty Engineer 當值工程師

Responsibilities

• To assume duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Chief Engineer/ Senior Duty Engineer during his absence.
• To supervise and direct subordinates to complete the assigned tasks according to the agreed repair and maintenance program.
• To be responsible for managing installation, maintenance and repairs projects of the hotel.
• To coordinate with contractors in carrying out routine maintenance.
• To assist in providing training for staff, evaluating their progress and performance periodically; and ensure that they are working in the most practical, skillful and safe manner.
• To assess safety and health risks in the work place and take necessary precautions if required.
• To check the daily progress of repair and maintenance work orders.
• To analyze and monitor the consumption of fuel, power and water of the hotel and recommend measures to save energy.
• To read the Engineering Log Book daily and take the corrective action as required.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A and Grade B is preferred.
• Certificate of Construction Industry Safety Training.
• Certificate worker in confined space is preferred.
• Certificate in Fire Fighting course is preferred.
