Responsibilities
- Manage the securities business at the bank in Macau, ensuring that growth and operations align with the Bank’s overall objectives while maximizing synergies with the Hong Kong office
- Plan and implement strategic initiatives for the securities business in Macau, with a focus on driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the operation comply with local regulations
- Work effectively with the Hong Kong team to share insights, best practices, and resources, facilitating cross-border initiatives and improving client services
- Develop and review standard procedures for sales activities and operational processes to ensure alignment with the bank's compliance and risk management culture
- Conduct comprehensive market surveillance of securities activities related to retail customers, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal guidelines
- Engage closely with stakeholders to foster the development of the securities business and enhance the customer journey across all channels
Requirements
- Degree holder or above in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in the securities business or related roles, preferably within the banking sector
- Qualifications in HKSI Licensing Exams or related certifications
- Strong understanding of securities markets, products, and regulations, with a preference for familiarity with the Macau market
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to effectively present insights and recommendations derived from financial data and reports for senior management review
- Resourceful with a strong market /stakeholder network in Macau
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Frequent travel to Macau is required
