AVP/ VP, Treasury Middle Office (Treasury System Focus)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and managing project plans for treasury system change

• Facilitate communication between internal teams, IT project managers and system vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables

• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor project progress

• Support testing and validation of system changes

• Provide support and troubleshooting post-implementation as needed

• Assist in business controlling, compliance checking, monitoring and ensuring that the division’s operations fully comply with the Bank's policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Handle ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology or related disciplines

• Holder of ECF-TM certification is preferred

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in treasury system projects, business control, market risk management, counterparty credit risk management, and any other treasury-related tasks

• Strong understanding of banking operations, treasury systems and project management principles

• Good knowledge of the banking business and the trade processes of treasury products

• Familiar with regulatory requirements and banking policies, e.g. FX Global Code, IM/VM requirements, compliance requirements

• Knowledge of Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills is an advantage

• Organized, self-motivated and detail-minded with a strong risk control sense and analytical skills

• Team player with the ability to support and motivate others

• Good command of written English and Chinese
