Job Description:
- Assist in sourcing qualified suppliers and obtaining quotations; maintain good relationships with suppliers and stay updated on market pricing trends.
- Support the preparation of price comparison reports and quotation updates; identify and recommend new suppliers and products as needed.
- Process purchase requests and consolidate orders from user departments, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up on amendments or cancellations.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure product quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in the inventory system, including item descriptions, pricing, and vendor details.
- Ensure compliance with established purchasing SOPs and internal control measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma or above in related disciplines
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant experience with procurement knowledge of food, beverage, and wine (experience in hotel or private club an advantage); Fresh graduate or candidate with less experience may be considered for the role of Purchasing Clerk
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory systems such as Materials Control is preferred
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- Detail-oriented, proactive with strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
