Operational Risk Management Specialist

As an Operational Risk Management Specialist at OCBC, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact our business operations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our risk management practices are robust and effective, and that we are well-positioned to achieve our strategic objectives.

How you succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of operational risk management principles and practices. You will need to be able to identify and assess potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies. You will also need to be able to communicate complex risk issues to stakeholders, and work collaboratively to implement risk management solutions.

What you do

- Identify and assess operational risks that could impact our business operations

- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that risk management practices are robust and effective

- Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure that our risk management practices are up-to-date and effective

- Develop and maintain risk management reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders

Who you are

- A degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, finance, or business

- At least 8 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, with exposure to risk management and control functions.

- Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and practices

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve common goals

- Holder of ECF on Operational Risk Management (ORM) accredited by HKIB is preferred
