Vice President, Corporate Banking Division

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with mid to large-sized Hong Kong corporates, including listed companies and cross-border clients (e.g., China-Hong Kong clients).
• Understand clients’ operations, capital structure, and strategic goals to deliver tailored financial solutions including trade finance, working capital loans, term loans, syndicated loans, cash management, and treasury services.
• Actively cross-sell banking products by collaborating with internal product partners (e.g., deposits, FX and other Treasury products, credit card etc
• Prepare and submit comprehensive credit proposals, including financial analysis, industry assessment, and risk identification.
• Monitor client performance, account conduct, and market developments to manage portfolio risk and ensure early identification of potential credit concerns.
• Ensure all account opening, KYC, and AML documentation complies with HKMA regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
• Participate in business development activities, including attending networking events, pitching to new clients, and identifying market opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or commercial banking in Hong Kong.
• Strong credit analysis, structuring, and risk assessment skills.
• In-depth understanding of local banking regulations (e.g. HKMA guidelines, AML/KYC compliance).
• Proven sales track record and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Cantonese, and preferably Mandarin.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with internal CRM and risk systems a plus.
