About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Division in Hong Kong, the Headwaiter/Headwaitress/Captain is responsible for providing quality service in a friendly, natural, courteous manner and always be attentive. The Headwaiter/Headwaitress/Captain reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Headwaiter/Headwaitress/Captain, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise the food products and services provided by the department
• Help with the training plans and carry out training sessions
• Maintain staff discipline and cooperation
• Inspect the cleanliness of all service equipment and side boards
• Prepare the duty roster for the service staff

As Headwaiter/Headwaitress/Captain, we expect from you:

• Experienced in Chinese Cuisine is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command in spoken English / Mandarin / Cantonese communication
• Candidates will less experience will be considered as Captain
