Director of Distribution / E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our prestigious 5-star hotel. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic digital marketing initiatives to drive online revenue and enhance the hotel's online presence. This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of e-commerce trends, exceptional marketing skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to maximize online revenue and bookings.
• Manage the hotel's website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
• Oversee the hotel's presence on various online platforms, including OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and social media channels.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and online booking performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute online marketing campaigns that drive direct bookings and increase brand visibility.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in e-commerce and digital marketing, implementing best practices and innovative strategies.
• Manage relationships with external partners, such as digital marketing agencies and OTA representatives.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Director of Distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-commerce management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing.
• Proficient in using web analytics tools and proficient in data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent command of spoken & written English and Mandarin.
