Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager(Internal Control) – Legal & Compliance

Job responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement the Bank's compliance policies and procedures to ensure the Bank's operations are in compliance with the regulatory and group requirements.
• Lead the compliance function and provide regulatory compliance advice to all relevant departments of the Bank, minimize the regulatory compliance risk in its day-to-day operation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and head office to ensure the Bank is abreast of and in compliance with the relevant regulatory and group requirements.
• Arrange relevant training courses so as to deliver latest information about regulatory requirements and internal policy.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in law, risk management, accounting, business administration or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of professional working experience in internal control, compliance or relevant experience, preferably in banking industry.
• Professional qualifications of CPA, ACCA and/or CIA are added asset.
• Solid experience in dealing direct with regulatory authorities is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
