Manager, Business & Project Management

Job Purpose

The Manager, Business & Project Management, Private Banking manages strategic projects and business initiatives including new product development and launch, process re-engineering, operational efficiency enhancement, and digital transformation. The role manages the full project lifecycle, aligns cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures delivery in accordance with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, including business case development, requirements gathering, resource planning, implementation, and post-launch review
• Track project progress, manage budgets, and provide updates on performance metrics and milestones
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Collaborate with IT to define and execute digital transformation strategies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Fintech integration and innovation within private banking
• Facilitate change management efforts and ensure alignment across IT, operations, risk, and compliance functions
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery and stakeholder alignment
• Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, providing clear updates and actionable insight
• Support Management Information System (MIS) functions to ensure accurate reporting and analytics for strategic decision-making

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to private banking or wealth management operations
• Proven project management experience, preferably in business transformation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
