Our Corporate and Investment Banking division provides a comprehensive range of banking products and services to corporate clients, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange. Responsibilities
- Assist senior bankers in credit origination, including the preparation and review of credit memos for corporate lending, derivatives hedging, and trade-related financial solutions in Hong Kong and China.
- Assess the creditworthiness of clients through insightful industry analysis, risk grading, financial modeling, and stress testing.
- Identify key historical and future credit (and non-credit) risks of customers.
- Analyze financial statements to perform ratio analysis, evaluate credit quality, and manage submission timelines.
- Monitor the portfolio of lending and derivative exposure, conducting credit and exposure analysis in credit forums.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements and monitor ongoing credit developments.
- Provide training to staff on credit memo writing and regulatory matters as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in relationship management and credit analysis within a corporate/commercial banking environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services, including cross-border RMB products in Hong Kong and China.
- Excellent credit analysis and risk management skills.
- Demonstrated drive for results with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
