What You Will Be Doing:

  • Make telephone calls, issue demand notice and conduct outdoor visit (if necessary) to follow up repayment from obligors in respect of past due accounts. 
  • Perform all other debt recovery actions including but not limited to repossession and sale of collateral, legal action, debt collection agency action and debt restructure work-out pursuant to established procedures, strategies and timelines for monitoring delinquency, minimizing credit loss and maximizing bad-debt recovery. Assist to conduct training/coaching for junior colleagues/new joiners to achieve required productivity/goals/objectives given by Management.
  • Manage loan classification, provisioning and arrange write-off pursuant to Bank’s policies and procedures. 
  • Execute approval for collection actions pursuant to delegated authority limit. Handle customer’s complaint, problem NPL work-out and restructure application.  Assist to monitor collection productivity, conduct call/action review, due diligence tasks and self-assessments in compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures. 

What We Are Looking For:

  • University graduated in any discipline
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in people management in a leading role on secured debt collection
  • Experience with Motor Vehicle Loans recovery is preferred
  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Teams
  • Knowledgeable in legal litigation procedures and regulatory compliance;
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Self-motivated, good communication and able to work under pressure
