Hang Seng's Financial Control function works closely with the Bank's stakeholders, including business partners, shareholders, regulators, and external examiners. We function as their accountants and business partners in providing comprehensive information on financial management, financial planning, financial reporting and compliance, capital planning and reporting, financial control & SOX control, tax advisory, insurance finance, and treasury and investment finance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented a Project Manager on 12-month contract to support the Forecasting Transformation Project.  This role will collaborate with the Group Data & Analytic Office (DAO) to align HK Business Finance actuals data as per the Future State Architecture (FSA) strategy, ensuring common and consistent data assets for HK Finance processes and embedding the Global Business Reporting standard through the Ledger Data Asset.

Principal responsibilities

• Lead project execution for forecast calculators covering NII, ECL and RWA.
• Work closely with DAO to streamline finance data alignment and reporting adoption.
• Facilitate the use of standardized data assets for HK Finance processes.
• Manage project milestones, stakeholder engagement, and reporting requirements.
• Support and backfill routine financial reporting activities as needed.

Requirements

• Agile, change mind-set, dynamic and inquisitive approach to work.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, with a recognized qualification such as ACCA or HKICPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience, preferably in finance or data analytics, and good presentation skills as well as the ability to interpret and convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and drive alignment on finance data processes.
• Familiarity with forecasting methodologies, financial reporting and analysis.
• Applicants must possess exceptional proficiency in English writing, demonstrating the ability to produce articulate and precise written content.
• Exceptional drive and commitment, ability to work and thrive in a fast changing and results driven environment, and proven ability in handling competing priorities.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
