Assistant Sales Manager

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by sales calls/visits and community networking;
  • Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities;
  • Establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and group clients;
  • Supports the sales department in preparing the departmental budget as well as the hotel’s overall sales goals and strategy;
  • Conduct as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry trade shows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan.

 

Requirements

  • Hotel school diploma or bachelor’s degree in commercial or hospitality field;
  • 4 or more years of experience in sales department;
  • Have proven track record of corporate and business contacts;
  • Understands well how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively;
  • Good organization and time management skills;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and local language, able to communicate with Mandarin is an advantage.
