Assistant Vice President (Loan Guarantee Schemes – Business Transformation)

We are looking for high-calibre individuals who want to lead business transformation projects for management of loan guarantee schemes and other policy initiatives for HKMC Insurance Limited (HKMCI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited.

Job Descriptions:

• Initiate, oversee and lead business transformation projects for the development, management and administration of new business initiatives and various loan guarantee schemes, such as the SME Financing Guarantee Scheme, the 100% Personal Loan Guarantee Scheme, the Dedicated 100% Loan Guarantee Schemes for specified sectors as well as for achieving policy objectives and corporate goals;
• Provide analytical support, agile team and project management for formulating and implementation of strategic directions, portfolio management and business process reengineering initiatives;
• Analyse and identify areas for process improvement and drive the implementation to increase efficiency;
• Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems;
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders; and
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and projects assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above with major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Analytics or related disciplines;
• A minimum of 10 years relevant working experiences, including at least 5 years in management positions;
• All-rounded experience in credit and operational risk management in commercial and SME lending, and management of fintech projects involving CDI, Open API and AI use cases;
• Experience in driving business transformation, process improvement, and change management;
• Strong analytical and leadership skills, self-motivated, proactive and capable of self-directed learning, positive work attitude, detailed-minded, organised, good at teamwork and excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including both Cantonese and Putonghua; and
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel with capabilities to navigate the software, apply advanced formulas, perform data analysis, pivot table creation and manipulation, and conditional formatting, is an added advantage.
