Officer, Securities & Futures (Equity Research & Analysis)

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in formulating the business plan, strategies and budget plan

• Evaluate and compare the relative quality of various securities, present general economic and investment outlook with reasonable basis

• Provide analytical support to securities RMs on issues such as valuations or economic data

• Conduct research and develop analytical tools to address issues such as upgrade, downgrade or delete of Shares Overdraft Facility (SOF) list

• Work with securities RMs to interact with VIP clients in order to boost customer interaction and foster loyalty

• Provide analytical support for relevant teams

• Perform projects and/or ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business/Finance or related discipline, professional qualification of CFP/CFMP/CRWP an advantage

• Passes in HKSI papers 1,2,7,8

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and familiar with the securities market (Fresh graduates or candidates with less experience may be considered as Associate, Securities & Futures)

• Solid product and market knowledge of securities

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Chinese word processing
